The home, built in the Georgian style, was used not only as the superintendent’s primary residence, but to house corporate guests as well between 1953 and 1964. In 2014, Riegel Hall received recognition from the Greenwood County Historical Society and bestowed with the Architectural and Historical Preservation and Restoration Award.
